Baby item safety guide
Babywabee is currently focused on baby clothes and soft accessories. We do not inspect or certify items, and a listing is not a safety approval. Buyers and sellers are responsible for checking an item before arranging an exchange.
Items not allowed on Babywabee
Do not list recalled or unsafe products, or durable baby equipment such as cribs, bassinets, car seats, strollers, high chairs, baby loungers, crib bumpers or positioners, and infant sleep products. These categories need product-specific safety and recall checks that this launch is not equipped to review.
Before listing or accepting an item
- Check the current recall database at CPSC.gov/Recalls.
- For car seats and vehicle equipment, also check the manufacturer and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for recalls and expiration information.
- Do not list an item that is damaged, missing parts, has loose or broken fasteners, or has an unknown safety history.
- Describe wear, stains, repairs, size, and included pieces accurately. Do not include a child’s name, face, or other personal information in photos or text.
Meet locally with care
Keep messages on Babywabee while arranging the exchange. Choose a public, well-lit location, meet during the day, and do not share your home address, bank details, or verification codes. Inspect the item before paying or taking it home.
If a listing appears recalled, unsafe, or deceptive, do not arrange the exchange. Babywabee does not process buyer-to-seller payments or guarantee a product. Read our community guidelines and privacy notice.
